Daily Digest Emails Not Sending – Notification Settings Explained
Overview
Some users may report not receiving Daily Digest Emails in Intapp. This is usually caused by incorrect notification settings in the user profile. For Daily Digest Emails to send successfully, two notification options must be enabled together.
🔍 Why Daily Digest Emails Fail to Send
The issue occurs when the user has only “Enable Daily Digest Emails” selected.
Daily Digest Emails will not send unless both of the following are enabled in the user’s Notification Settings:
- Enable Individual Notifications
- Enable Daily Digest Emails
These settings are linked — enabling only the Daily Digest option blocks all digest emails.[
Important:
When both options are enabled, the user will receive:
- All Intapp individual notifications
- The Daily Digest Email summary
🛠️ How to Check and Update Notification Settings
Follow these steps:
Step 1 — Navigate to User Administration
Step 2 — Review Notification Settings
Scroll to the bottom of the user profile to find Notification Settings.
Ensure the following both have checkmarks:
- ✔ Enable Individual Notifications
- ✔ Enable Daily Digest Emails
If only the Daily Digest option is selected, the user will not receive any digest emails.[
Step 3 — Save and Notify the User
After enabling both settings:
- Save the profile changes
- Inform the user they will begin receiving digest emails during the next scheduled dispatch cycle
📝 Additional Notes
- These settings apply per user; changes do not affect others.
- Users may experience an increase in system notifications when both settings are enabled.
- Daily Digest Emails are summarised notifications, not replacements for individual system notifications.
